Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Phan Ngoc Tho receives Ambassador of Finland to Vietnam
TTH.VN - In the afternoon of September 28th, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of Thua Thien Hue National Assembly delegation Phan Ngoc Tho received a courtesy visit from H.E. Kari Kahiluoto, the Ambassador of Finland to Vietnam.

At the reception, Ambassador Kari Kahiluoto said that the cooperation between Finland and Thua Thien Hue has achieved a number of results on several areas over the years. Yet, it has not been appropriate to the potentiality and strengths of the 2 sides. It is essential to have a further push on many fields in the coming time.
With his role, the Ambassador of Finland to Viet Nam will actively cooperate with leaders of Thua Thien Hue province to promote the relationship and cooperation between the province and Finland, especially in the sectors which Finland has strengths such as telecommunications, IT, clean water and environment treatment, smart city development, innovative and creative entrepreneurship...
Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Phan Ngoc Tho provided Ambassador Kari Kahiluoto an overview on the potentiality and advantages of the provincial socio-economic development. He also expressed a desire for the Ambassador to be as the “bridge” to promote cooperation between Finnish enterprises and those of Thua Thien Hue province as well as introduce Finnish businesses to look for cooperation and investment opportunities in the province.
