Recently, Thua Thien Hue province was honored to receive the First Class Labor Medal awarded by the President of the Lao People's Democratic Republic.

The Chairman of the provincial People's Committee affirmed that the leaders and people of the province will inherit and continue to cultivate the special solidarity, the loyal and close friendship, as well as the comprehensive cooperation between Thua Thien Hue and the localities in Laos. Mr. Tho has trusted the traditional friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam - Laos, and Laos -Vietnam will be lush and sustainable forever.

Mr. Viengxay Phommachanh believes in the time to come, the two sides will regularly exchange high-level delegation groups and working delegation ones to visit and work. Mr. Viengxay Phommachanh expects leaders of Thua Thien Hue province to pay attention to, and facilitate conditions for officers, soldiers and people of southern provinces of Laos to come to Hue Central Hospital for medical examination and treatment; at the same time, to support human resources training for localities of Laos.
