Hue sports won gold medal at shuttlecock world championships for the first time in history
TTH.VN - On August 25, from France, coach of Hue Shuttlecock team - Nguyen Van Hien A informed, the shuttlecock world championships (opened on 21/8) closed with much joy for Vietnamese sports in general and Thua Thien Hue province in particular.

This championship attracted more than 200 best athletes worldwide from 17 countries participating in the competition. After 5 days of intense and thrilling competition, Vietnamese team with 12 athletes won 5 gold medals, 2 silver medals and the team championship title, while China received the second prize with 3 gold medals.
Notably, in the Vietnam shuttlecock team, Nguyen Thi Thuy Linh from Thua Thien Hue Shuttlecock team excellently won a gold medal in women’s team category, after defeating the Chinese opponent in the final match.

With the gold medal won, Nguyen Thi Thuy Linh helped the shuttlecock team in particular, Thua Thien Hue sports in general for the first time make history at the most prestigious shuttlecock tournament in the world.
