Thua Thien-Hue's Vietnam-France Friendship Association:
Promoting economic cooperation between Thua Thien Hue and French partners
TTH.VN - On April 1, the fourth congress of Thua Thien-Hue's Vietnam-France Friendship Association in the term of 2017-2022 took place at Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy.

In the last term, the Association in connection with the Francophone Affairs Office of Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy established Hue Francophone Club, organized activities of culture, exchange and friendship, as well as called for timely aids in disaster relief; built public works, gave bicycles and scholarships to students; and delivered free drugs to the poor.
The Association has bridged the friendship between the people of the two countries through activities of exchange, meeting and culture exchange with French organizations, units, and associations.

At the congress, many delegates gave their opinions on the activities of the coming term, including continuing to strengthen the organization, cooperating with agencies and social organizations in France so as to seek funding sources to support social relief activities, creating the opportunities to promote economic cooperation between Thua Thien Hue and French partners, etc.
The congress elected the new Executive Board consisting of 23 members; among them, Vice Rector of Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Mr. Nguyen Khoa Hung was voted as the Chairman of the Association.
