TTH.VN - On the afternoon of November 3rd, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, hosted a courtesy reception for delegation from Japan led by Mr. Asaba Kazuyoshi, Chairman of the Fukuroi - Vietnam Friendship Association.

At the meeting, Mr. Asaba Kazuyoshi shared that 2023 marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan. He expressed gratitude to the province for facilitating and supporting the Fukuroi - Vietnam Friendship Association in organizing the "Fukuroi Day in Hue" event, showcasing Japanese culture and its people. Mr. Kazuyoshi also hoped for further strengthening of the cooperation between Fukuroi and Thua Thien Hue, especially in the fields of education and cultural exchange. He believed that the cooperative relationship between Thua Thien Hue province and various Japanese regions will continue to grow and become more interconnected across multiple sectors.

Permanent Vice Chairman Nguyen Thanh Binh highly praised the friendly and cooperative relationship between the Fukuroi - Vietnam Friendship Association and Thua Thien Hue province. Currently, numerous major Japanese enterprises have shown interest in investing and implementing collaborative programs in management, tourism promotion, conservation, education, and human resource training between the two localities. Notably, the Aeon Mall Hue Commercial Center project is currently under development and is expected to go into operation by the end of 2024.

Mr. Binh desired that in the coming time, the Fukuroi - Vietnam Friendship Association will continue to maintain and expand its activities in various fields. At the same time, it will also act as a bridge for Japanese businesses seeking investment opportunities in Thua Thien Hue, fostering cultural exchange as well as friendly relations and people-to-people exchanges, contributing to tightening the friendship and cooperation between the two localities, increasing mutual understanding, and affirming the strong friendship between Vietnam and Japan.
