Provincial leader hosted a courtesy reception for Norway's Ambassador to Vietnam
TTH.VN - On November 15, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong hosted a courtesy reception for H.E. Hilde Solbakken, the Kingdom of Norway's Ambassador to Vietnam.

At the courtesy reception, Ms. Hilde Solbakken expressed her delight at visiting and working in Thua Thien Hue Province.
Ms. Hilde Solbakken believed that Thua Thien Hue will achieve significant breakthroughs in socio-economic development, if it effectively leverages and exploits its potential and strengths.
The Norway's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Vietnam stated that she would pay close attention to and cooperate in promoting the cooperative relationship between Thua Thien Hue Province and the Kingdom of Norway, especially in the sectors where Norway has strengths.
Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong expressed his delight in welcoming Ms. Hilde Solbakken and the accompanying delegation on their visit and working trip to Thua Thien Hue.

According to Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong, based on the good relationship between Vietnam and the Kingdom of Norway, the province has implemented many important programs and projects in the recent years.
He also highly appreciated and thanked the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ambassador, and especially the people of Norway for the development support projects in recent times.
Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong expressed his hope that Ms. Hilde Solbakken, in her role as Ambassador, will continue to support and facilitate connections between the two sides, as well as support in community development, natural disaster mitigation, and environmental protection; at the same time, she would consider and introduce a number of potential businesses and investors, especially in Norway's strong sectors such as semiconductor and energy, etc., to explore and invest in Thua Thien Hue Province; strengthening the cultural cooperation with Thua Thien Hue Province by introducing Norwegian art troupes to participate in the International Festival of Thua Thien Hue Province.
