The Fergessen is a band consisting of two French artists, one male and one female, who are David Mignonneau and Michaëla Chariau. They are both talented and dedicated musicians, singers, and music producers. “After their music night, the audience was as wet as the artists on stage, and extremely excited because the artists had a tremendous source of energy, which was reborn as the audience gradually liberated themselves..." (the La voix de l'Ain weekly newspaper).

The Fergessen's impressive songs include “Ex Aequo”, “Les Amants”, “Nos palpitants”, and “Old Is Beautiful”, etc. In Hanoi, the Fergessen performed at the 2023 Monsoon Music Festival, with the slogan "Vibing your life, Inspire your next". The program took place from October 14 to 22, with the participation of DJ Sũn Jùn, another French artist.

Electro-rock is a music genre that combines the wild and passionate features of rock and the modernity of the EDM. This one was born in the late 60s as rock bands like The United States of America, White Noise and Gong began mixing electronic melodies into their songs. By the end of the 2000s, Eletro - rock became increasingly popular and affirmed its position on the world music map.

A moment when artists and audience “jointly immersed” in music

The students of the University of Foreign Languages, Hue University "wholeheartedly enjoyed" the music night of the two artists, who filled the empty seats even though it was raining heavily. David Mignonneau and Michaëla Chariau bursted on the stage, and soaked in the rain to bring the most satisfying performance to the audience. They have the liberal, approachable and professional style.

Many a young people approached the stage to interact and dance to the vibrant melodies of the songs. The atmosphere was jubilant and full of vitality. It was just over an hour of performance, Fergessen left a special mark in the hearts of young Hue audience. After the performance of the two French artists, the University of Foreign Languages, Hue University continued the program with an EDM performance to welcome new students of the 2023 - 2024 academic year.

2023 is an active year of the French Institute of Vietnam in general and the French Institute of Hue in particular, with cultural, artistic, entertainment, and educational activities continuously organized ... to celebrate the 50 years of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and France. Prior to the Fergessen's Eelectro-rock concert, musical events of French artists had taken place in Hue, including the piano-violin duet of two artists, namely Maxime Zecchini and Chuong Vu, and the pop-rock concert of The Rodeo, etc.
