Agreement on cooperation between Thua Thien Hue and Da Nang city
Coordinating in speeding up the execution progress of some works and projects; propagating and promoting culture, tourism; sharing experiences in IT infrastructural development; building online government, smart cities, etc. are important contents agreed between the two localities Thua Thien Hue and Da Nang city at the signing ceremony at the Thua Thien Hue provincial People’s Committee meeting-hall on the afternoon of April 12.

According to the signed minutes, from now to 2019, the two localities will coordinate to petition the central government, ministries and sectors for priority in speeding up execution progresses; completing the Ho Chi Minh highway (La Son – Tuy Loan section); enlarging the Hai Van Tunnel 2; and reconstructing the railway tunnel through Hai Van Pass.
The two localities will study the development of the coastal shipping route, the Da Nang – Hue express railway, the Da Nang – Lang Co – Hue bus route; propagate, promote Hue culture and tourism in Da Nang and Da Nang culture and tourism in Hue; conserve and enhance the Hai Van Quan heritage values; develop high quality human resources; etc
