Schools receiving the collective first, second, and third prizes
Due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, this year's children's competition on drawing from books has been organized by the Provincial General Library via online form. After one month of launching, the competition has attracted 725 students from 41 primary schools in the area of Hue City.
By drawing paintings on A3 size papers, the students have showed the images of their grandfathers, grandmothers, fathers, mothers, brothers and sisters in the family reading books together; teachers and friends reading books with them, etc. Thereby, they send the message that adults, teachers and parents should read books with children, helping them have more love for books.
The competition is an interesting activity, contributing to arousing the children's passion and creativity, as well as expressing their ideas, talents, thoughts and actions. From the emotions through the pages of the books, they have created the paintings of "Reading books together".
The Organizing Committee has awarded 21 individual prizes, including one first prize, two second prizes, three third prizes, and 15 consolation prizes; and awarded five collective prizes, including one first prize, one second prize, one third prize and two consolation prizes. Among them, the individual first prize belongs to Tran Trung Kien, a student of class 5/2, from Thuan Loc Primary School; and the collective first prize belongs to Ly Thuong Kiet Primary School.
