More than VND 17 billion to support the policy beneficiaries in Hue on Lunar New Year Holiday
The Provincial People's Committee has just decided to support the policy beneficiaries on the occasion of Canh Ty Lunar New Year 2020
Poor people and policy beneficiaries are always concerned in the Lunar New Year
Accordingly, VND 1 million will be supported for each typical policy beneficiary family, typical households out of poverty, typical public and non-public social protection establishment.
The poor households, relatives of people with meritorious services and children of resistance activists infected with toxic chemicals will be supported with VND 300,000 per subject.
Meanwhile, the support of 200,000 VND will be given to each social protection beneficiary in the community and to person who is fostered in social protection establishments under the Government's Decree No. 136/2013/ND-CP, as well as to non-public fostered-subject.
Those above subjects, if being offered the support of the agencies, organizations or individuals of the Central Government (including gifts of the President) on Tet holiday, could still receive gifts according to this regulation.
Funding is from the provincial budget of nearly VND 16 billion and the district budget of over VND 1.2 billion. The support is being implemented by localities, ensuring Tet gifts to beneficiaries before January 16.
