The garden house of Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngo’s family was constructed in Kim Long ward, following the 3 compartments and 2 lean-tos architecture. After nearly 140 years, many important works of the house such as the tiled roof and wooden frame have suffered severe damage from termites, with broken pillars and leaks, etc. Additionally, the garden area remains unkempt and unrenovated, failing to attract tourist.

Addressing the groundbreaking ceremony, Standing Deputy Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee said that this is the first ruong house to be renovated in the provincial area in the period of 2023 – 2026, with a total investment capital of around 1 billion VND. The renovation is essential to preserve and protect the unique values of Hue’s garden houses, enhancing their economic values; creating the consensus, and fostering the spirit of voluntary participation in the project among garden houses’ owners.

Major roads are opened

Never before have the people of Hue Ancient Capital talked about so many traffic construction projects and works as they do now. Not only small roads but also many major roads have been opened, in hope that “large roads generate great wealth”, contributing to turning Thua Thien Hue into a centrally-governed city.
