Exhibition of 50 sketches of Hue Ancient Capital

TTH.VN - On June 16th, the 2018 exhibition titled "Hue Sketch Journey - A glimpse at the Ancient Capital" was opened at Diem Phung Thi Art Center.

The exhibition introduces to the viewers 50 works by 40 authors, members of Urban Sketchers Group from Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang and Hue.

The sketches of the landscapes, cultural buildings, cuisine of Hue, such as the Citadel, Ngo Mon Gate, Nine Dynastic Urns, Tu Phuong Vo Su Pavilion, Hung To Temple, Hue Culture Museum, and so on.

With the desire to contribute to promoting and honoring the heritage value of Hue Ancient Capital, the "2018 Hue Sketch Journey - A glimpse at the Ancient Capital" makes its contribution to the preservation of culture with live sketches of the architectural and cultural works as well as the landscapes and the people of Hue – a typical city of heritage and ecology of Vietnam.

The exhibition retains the beautiful scenery and the ancient architecture of Hue

Architect Tran Thi Thanh Thuy, a member of Urban Sketchers Group said, "the Urban Sketchers Group was founded in 2013 with its major activity to make sketches of urban cities and to capture emotions through sketches in order to turn the architectural works and the beautiful scenery of the places we stay on the way into beautiful memories and beautiful images."

The exhibition will last until June 30.
