Accordingly, there will be 1.000 fireworks fired in Hue City, while Quang Dien and Phu Vang districts will have 500 fireworks each. The entire budget for the firework display is from social contributions.
Additionally, the Hue Monuments Conservation Center will organize a low altitude firework display above the Flag Tower in the framework of the music show welcoming the Lunar New Year at 22:00 on Tet’s Eve. At Thanh Toan Tiled-roof Bridge, the People’s Committee of Huong Thuy Town will also have a low altitude firework display on the New Year’s Eve, after the artistic program welcoming the Year of Dragon.
According to this plan, before, during, and after the Lunar New Year first days, many other activities to celebrate the Party and welcome the Year of Dragon will take place in the provincial area. The place organizing the highest number of activities and events will be on the walking path along the Southern bank of the Huong River, from Ho Chi Minh Museum to 3/2 Park. These activities are held by the People’s Committee of Hue City, in collaboration with the Department of Culture and Sports, and other related units.
