Remember when Nguyen Dinh Chieu Walking Street was opened, many people and I shared the same interest. Everyone is all interested in the beautiful space to relax along the Huong River and enjoy the wonderful beauty of the legendary Huong River.

Recently, the unique ironwood pedestrian bridge appearing on the Perfume River also brings about very different senses of emotions. Along with the welcome is the suspicious eyes on aesthetics, utilities and sustainability.
Not until the bridge was inaugurated and became an interesting go-to destination, people all can’t help praising it. This place has become a check-in point not to be missed when someone comes to Hue.
There is a feeling of satisfaction when beside Nguyen Dinh Chieu Pedestrian Street, there are more walkways cleverly designed to avoid the trees, minimizing damage to nature. These walkways are regarded as the roads "through the forest" in the city.
A walking space with a path along the banks of the Huong River is opened. Tourists have the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Huong River. The people of the Ancient Capital are extremely excited because this is where they exercise, jog, and cycle every day.
With the pedestrian street which links Pham Ngu Lao Street, Vo Thi Sau Street and Chu Van An Street, the walking space not only is length-extended but also has new exciting and lively features, which enable people to be engaged in street activities in a Hue’s style with elegance and not too much noise instead of observing and contemplating.
Recently, having read the report on Hue tourism development of Hue City People's Committee, I was so interested in the idea of exploiting Nguyen Dinh Chieu Pedestrian Street together with the space of Dong Ba Market, Tran Hung Dao Street and Trinh Cong Son Street at night, expanding the southern walking space and surrounding area of the Inner Citadel.
Besides, the development of a pedestrian route connecting Da Vien Bridge to Thien Mu Pagoda to meet the needs of sightseeing, special entertainment at night for tourists and local people.
Anyone who has ever looked at the high buildings, and hustling and seemingly invariable pedestrian streets in Shanghai, Beijing (China) or many other big cities in the world, will surely amazed at the pedestrian space filled with tranquility in Hue. Once again, the legendary Huong River is the idea to form the colorful space here.
