In the framework of the ceremony, Mr. Truong Dinh Hanh Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee of Hue Traditional Craft Festival 2023 affirmed that Hue Traditional Craft Festival was organized for the very first time in 2005.

Up to now, after nearly 20 years of organization, this activity has clearly affirmed the brand name of a national festival with international element, held by Hue City People’s Committee biennially in the odd years with the aims to preserve, honor, and develop traditional crafts, making a great contribution to the socio-economic development of the city in particular and that of the province and the country in general.
