Over 200 works participate in the composition competition for preschool education
TTH.VN - On October 23, the Department of Education and Training held a session to assess the works participating in the competition for composing new lyrics based on Hue folk melodies; painting about Hue culture and collecting local games, folk songs, and folk poems appropriate with preschool education.

The competition for composing new lyrics based on Hue folk melodies; painting about Hue culture and collecting folk games, folk songs, and folk poems is an activity held by the Department of Education and Training for officers, teachers, and employees in preschool education, as well as children’s parents, and other members of the community.
So far, the competition has received 29 new lyrics based on folk melodies, 29 poems, and 26 stories. In terms of paintings, 117 paintings participate in the competition across 5 themes, including folk paintings, local historical relics, traditional festivals, traditional craft villages, and traditional craft products.
The organizing committee invited qualified and reputable experts to join the valuation council for each category to select excellent works for awards. Thence, it will help to build a local educational document resource suitable for the psychological and developmental characteristics of preschool children; as well as selecting and publishing materials to support the integration of local culture into preschool education program throughout the province.
