Providing knowledge on drowning prevention for more than 300 students

TTH.VN - On the afternoon of February 10, the Provincial Youth Activity Center coordinated with Hue Help Organization and Pham Van Dong secondary school (Hue City) to hold a communication program on drowning prevention for children in 2023.

Introduction on how to wear life jackets for students

Coming to this program, over 300 students of grade 6 had the chance to learn about the current situation of children’s drowning accidents, at the same time they were also taught about safety skills in the water environment and learned the ways to prevent potential accidents and injuries. Furthermore, they also participated in the practice of handling and rescue measures in case of a drowning accident.

Representatives of the organizing committee said that this was an annual activity, contributing to pushing up the work of propaganda and raising the awareness of education administrators, teachers, students, parents, and the community on the measures to prevent and combat drowning accidents.
