Diem Phung Thi Sculpture Museum to be temporarily closed

TTH.VN - Diem Phung Thi Sculpture Museum located at 1 Phan Boi Chau street, Hue city was temporarily closed for the packaging of works to be preserved at a temporary location, before being displayed at a new location at 17 Le Loi street, Hue city.

The closure from August 7 was the preparation for the relocation of Diem Phung Thi Sculpture Museum from 1 Phan Boi Chau street to its new location at 17 Le Loi street (Hue city). Thus, nearly 400 works of this world famous sculptor would be packaged and stored in thehall on the 4th floor of Thua Thien Hue General Library on Le Quy Don street, Hue city. This work was carried out in the process of handing over the site of the repaired Hue Festival Center’s headquarter(17 Le Loi street) before serving the public. Re-opening date depends on the repairof the site and will be announced later.
