Steering Committee for building provincial level e-government established
TTH.VN - Mr. Phan Ngoc Tho, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee has just signed Decision No. 2197 /QDUBND on the establishment of the Steering Committee for building provincial level e-government.
Accordingly, the Steering Committee is chaired by Mr. Phan Ngoc Tho. Besides, Director of the Provincial Department of Information and Communication serves as Standing Vice Chairman; Chief of the Office of the Provincial People's Committee serves as Vice Chairman. The commissioners are directors of provincial departments and the localities, including: the Provincial Departments of Finance, Planning and Investment, Science and Technology, Education and Training, Health, Justice, Home Affairs, Resources - Environment, Tourism, and Transportation.
The Steering Committee’s tasks and authorities are as follow: studying and proposing to the Provincial People's Committee, and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee on the guidelines, strategies, mechanisms, and policies to create a legal environment that promotes the construction and development of the e-government towards digital government, economy and society; as well as accessing and adopting the achievements of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 in Vietnam, in order to promote socio-economic development in the locality.
