The female archer from Hue Ancient Capital broke the national record of 2007
TTH.VN - On the afternoon of August 27, at the archery championship of strong national teams 2019, Thua Thien Hue archery team caused great surprise with an archery athlete setting a new national record at the end of the one-string-bow category.

Participating in the tournament, 6 archers competed with the full range of the one-string-bow category. After nearly a week of competition, Thua Thien Hue archery team excellently won 1 gold medal, 2 silver medals, 1 bronze medal although previously the team just set the target of learning at the tournament with the participation of many strong teams such as Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Vinh Long, Phu Tho, etc., which won a great deal of achievements in international tournaments.
Among the above medals, in addition to the silver medal of the 70-meter-female-team category with Nguyen Thi Thanh Thao and Phung Thi Bich Phuong, Nguyen Thi Thanh Nhi showed excellent performance when being the owner of the remaining medals of Thua Thien Hue team with 1 gold medal (30-meter distance), 1 silver medal (60-meter distance), and 1 bronze medal (70-meter distance).
It is worth mentioning that with the individual gold medal (30-meter distance) along with 352 points, Thanh Nhi broke the old record that existed 12 years ago of the archer Nguyen Thi Huong (Bac Can, 351 points) and set a new national record at this category.
According to the Hue archery coach – Lai Dang Quang, Nguyen Thi Thanh Nhi’s excellent achievement in this tournament has generated a great motivation for the provincial archer to devote their efforts to attain the tremendous achievements in the national and regional arena.
