TTH.VN - On the afternoon of September 29, the Organization Committee of the Women and the Economy Forum (WEF) held a press conference to announce the success of the forum. Accordingly, members of the 21 economies of APEC agree to act for the common goals, which are to take all measures to enable women to participate more fully in the economy, exploit the talent of women, remove barriers restricting the full participation of women in all economic aspects and maximize women's contribution to economic growth.

Ms. Dao Hong Lan, Deputy Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs chairs the press conference.

Through this forum, delegates from many economies of the world had the opportunities to understand each other, share more valuable experiences and lessons. At the same time, they share the same beliefs and dreams of jointly developing the regional vision in the new development stage so that all APEC citizens can contribute and equally enjoy the values of the comprehensive development.

APEC members and international friends are deeply impressed by the warm hospitality of Vietnamese people, especially the people of Hue city; and appreciate the professional organization of Vietnam. Vietnam has created the best conditions for the economies to come to Hue, meet and exchange, contributing to the success of the meeting. Thua Thien Hue has made good use of the APEC forum to promote its tourism, economy and culture. On the sidelines of the meeting, provincial leaders also met with many delegations, promoting investment and business.
