The People’s Committee of Hue city has just issued a plan for organizing cultural and artistic activities to serve tourists by night.

Following exciting activities and experiences, the “Country’s Fair and Festival – Thanh Toan tile-roofed bridge in 2022” closed on the night of February 25, with special art performances and the Ao Dai fashion show.

Tet (Lunar New Year) of Tiger 2022 is the second Tet that the spring sport activities cannot be organized because of COVID-19. And Hue people will probably recall the two big and typical folk sport activities to enjoy Tet, welcome spring.

Facing less favourable weather in the days after Tet holiday, with their usual hard-working unyielding spirit, local farmers put their springtime activities on hold to go to the fields and take care of their rice. Their usual jobs are to transplant, fertilize, weed, and pump water for the irrigation system.

On the morning of February 9, the Huyen Tran Temple Festival – the Year of Tiger 2022, was kicked off at Huyen Tran Cultural Center (Ngu Phong Mountain, An Tay Ward, Hue City) by the Provincial Department of Culture and Sports. This is an activity to welcome the Year of Tiger, and the first large-scale Festival in the series of activities and events of the “Four Seasons of Festivals” in 2022.

On the night of January 28, the People’s Committee of A Luoi District held a program “A Da Koonh Festival Night”. This was one of the activities to celebrate the Party and The Year of Tiger 2022.

Experiencing Tet traditions in Hue with dried candied fruits and cake-making activities seems like an interesting spring greeting program, now running at L'art à Hué space (located at No. 1, Tran Thuc Nhan street in Hue City, from January 23rd to 30th.

Among the activities to welcome the 2022 Lunar New Year, on the morning of January 25 (23rd December, Lunar calendar), Hue Monuments Conservation Center held the bamboo pole erection ceremony (Thuong Tieu) in Trieu To Mieu and Hien Lam Cac - The Mieu in the Citadel.
