On the afternoon of April 18, Hue Monuments Conservation Center had a working session with the Japan Foundation Center for Cultural Exchange in Vietnam (Japan Foundation in Vietnam), led by Mr. Ando Toshiko, director of the center.

After a long time carrying out the preparation of infrastructure as well as art activities and programs, on the night of April 22, the People’s Committee of Hue city will officially hold the opening ceremony of the Imperial Citadel night street zone.

Responding to the Hue Festival of four seasons in 2022, towards the commemoration of the liberation of the South, on the evening of April 16, Hue Monuments Conservation Center organized the art program "Hue Timbre" at Ngo Mon and the Courtyard of Thai Hoa Palace.

In an effort to build a "bright" and "lively" city, cultural spaces, pedestrian streets, and parks will be livened up at nighttime with different kinds of art performances, folk games, music, etc.

The 5th fine arts exhibition by the young at College of Art, Hue University from March 23rd-30th is so eye-pleasing to the viewer with many works novel both in theme and style.

“Spraying Board Vietnam” is the theme of a street art exhibition organized by the French Institute in Hue, which opened on the evening of April 12. Attending the event was Ms. Frédérique Horn, Attaché for Cooperation and Cultural Activities of the Consulate General of France in Ho Chi Minh City.

After a frozen period of tourism under the impact of the pandemic, the exhibition spaces and art spaces prepare to welcome visitors back when tourism rebounds bit by bit.

This activity was co-organized by the Executive Committee of the Student Union and the Youth Union of the College of Arts, Hue University on the morning of April 3. The activity has attracted the participation of many youth union members and students from various majors in the faculties of Visual arts, Arts Pedagogy, and Applied Arts.

Hue’s artisans, being many in number, skilled, and dedicated to traditional occupations, have not only created many sophisticated and quality products but also contributed to preserving and developing traditional occupations over the past time.

Inspired by folk paintings, royal fine art motifs, and paintings, the designer Viet Bao himself printed and dyed the fabric to design many Ao Dai models bearing Hue's own cultural identity.
