Thua Thien Hue has 3 destinations of 3 categories listed in the “Vietnam’s Top 7 Impressions 2023”.

Thousands of people and visitors flocked to the streets to say goodbye to the old year and welcome the new year. In the cool weather with a vibrant music stage, the Countdown - Happy New Year 2024 art program, with an outdoor stage located at the intersection of Hung Vuong Street, Hue City, lasting from the night of December 31 to the dawn of the new year on January 1, 2024, became a highlight in the heart of the ancient capital.

In 2023, tourism activities in the area of Hue City have recovered and shown good growth. Thua Thien Hue is one of the 12 localities assigned the task of actively selecting suitable night tourism models, with the goal by 2030 to establish Vietnam's night-tourism-product brand. Choosing which products for night tourism to avoid duplication among regions and to reflect the characteristics of each locality is an issue that should be taken into careful consideration.
