On the afternoon of May 12th, at 3/2 Park, the Hue Brass Band held a music show to commemorate the 134th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2024).

Located approximately 4km northwest of the center of A Luoi district, along the Ho Chi Minh Highway, the eco-tourism area of A Nor (Hong Kim commune) has now transformed into a vibrant homestay and farm stay hub in the highlands.

At the 20th Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Day event held in 2024 under the theme “20 years of thrilling journey” and accompanied by the program message “Welcome to Ho Chi Minh City” (from April 4th to 7th), the Department of Tourism of Thua Thien Hue Province participated in various promotional and marketing activities.

More than 130 paintings, which are the selected works from the artistic career of painter Nguyen Van Nguyen, were recently exhibited and introduced to the public on the afternoon of March 22nd at Ho Chi Minh Museum in Thua Thien Hue (7 Le Loi Street, Hue City).

On the morning of March 23, at Trinh Cong Son Park, Hue City People's Committee held the opening ceremony of the 3rd Hue City Traditional Boat Racing Competition, aiming to celebrate the 93rd anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the 78th anniversary of the traditional day of the Vietnamese Sports sector, and the 49th anniversary of Thua Thien Hue's liberation day. This is also one of the activities responding to Hue Festival 2024.

Many images of Ao dai Hue and Hue ancient capital’s relics are being displayed by Kao Kuong, a Hue-born photographer (whose real name is Nguyen Cao Cuong) in a photo exhibition themed "The Ao dai which I love". The exhibition opened on March 2 at 87 Tran Quoc Thao Street, Ho Chi Minh City.

Having worked in Ho Chi Minh City for 10 years and being at the peak of his career, Nguyen Duc Tung, Director of X10 Digital Company, chose to return to Hue with the dream of building a “creative factory” in his homeland.

In 2023, Ho Chi Minh Museum in Thua Thien Hue welcomed more than 122,000 visitors to the museum, as well as the relics under its management.

Following the success of previous collections such as “Xua va nay” (Past and Present), “Nhat Nguyet” (Sun and Moon), “Em den tu nghin xua” (You Come from Ancient Times), “Vu khuc gam lua” (Silk Dance), and “Bong - Hinh” (Shadow - Image), on the evening of December 14th, Trinh Hoang Dieu - a fashion designer, will unveil a new collection of Ao dai entitled “Mau thoi gian” (Colors of Time) at the art event and fashion show “Dieu - Mau thoi gian” (Dieu - Colors of Time) in Ho Chi Minh City.
