On the morning of December 8, at the awarding ceremony for the Make in Vietnam Awards 2022 within the framework of the National Forum on Developing Digital Technology Businesses 2022 (VFTE 2022), organized by the Ministry of Information and Communications, "The smart urban services platform in Thua Thien Hue Province (Hue-S)” was honored to win the Make in Vietnam Digital Technology Product Awards 2022, making it the Top 10 Best Digital Products for Digital Society.

Thousands of scientific and technological projects, solutions and research projects of scientists and inventors in Hue have been accepted and approved. However, the number of projects transferred and applied to real life and into commercialized products is still limited.

On the morning of November 12, the Department of Tourism organized a display space to introduce healthcare tourism facilities and products in Thua Thien Hue.

Thua Thien Hue is a locality with numerous traditional crafts and craft villages, but due to the lack of links in production, the designs are not rich and the output prices are not consistent. So, many handicraft products in the province have difficulty on the market and many artisans and craftsmen struggle to "live" with their profession.

With the application to support digital transformation for businesses, the Provincial IT Center - HueCIT has excellently won the VietNam Digital Awards - VDA 2022 in the category of Products, Typical Digital Technology Solutions, and Services. This is the third year in a row that HueCIT has been honored by the Vietnam Digital Communications Association at the recent Vietnam Digital Awards 2022.

Taking place on October 6 at 53 Nguyen Hue, Hue City, the innovation festival for Hue traditional products held by the People’s Committee of Hue City in collaboration with the Provincial Innovation Start-up Center is an activity to raise the capacity of branding and sales for Hue specialties and traditional products.

Among Hue's key products, medicinal pharmaceutical products from indigenous materials are judged as having economic and environmental prospects, as well as being suitable for the trend of science and technology development. This is also the connecting thread between entrepreneurs to form high-value pharmaceutical products, meeting the practical needs of people.

That history is being viewed by students as an unattractive subject, and Hue needs more novel tourism products has motivated me to develop a history learning program through experience for children called “Prison tour” (Touring the prison).

Having experience in working in the field of tourism, understanding the needs of tourists and realizing that no one has ever sold products from cobblestones in the area, Le Duy Bao (Huong Ho, Hue City) chose cobblestone to start-up after a long time of work suspension due to the pandemic.

Many families and production facilities in the coastal area of Thua Thien Hue have been focusing on brand development and improving the value of shrimp paste products. However, to expand the market for this product, cooperation between different stakeholders are necessary.
