Green living doesn't need a “sledgehammer”, yet starts with simple actions taken every day. That's how the youth of Thua Thien Hue spread the green lifestyle, contributing to raising people's awareness of protecting their living environment.

On the afternoon of December 30, Vietnamese Community Volunteering held a press conference on the 5th “Connecting Volunteer Hearts Festival” and the ceremony “Youth Dedication to community” in 2022 in Hue city.

On the evening of November 15th, the Provincial Union of Science and Technology Associations (PVUSTA), in coordination with Hue University, the Provincial Labor Confederation, the Department of Science and Technology, the Provincial Youth Union and related units, held the Closing Remarks and Award Ceremony of the 12th Thua Thien Hue Provincial Technical Innovation Contest 2022, and at the same time, recognizing and honoring the merits of innovators who have come up with useful technical solutions.

On the occasion of the Vietnamese Entrepreneurs’ Day (October 13), the Provincial Real Estate Association – HuREA coordinated with Thua Thien Hue Provincial Youth Union to visit and give present to local people in Vinh Xuan commune (Phu Vang district), Quang Thanh commune (Quang Dien district), and Huong An ward (Hue City), where were affected by the typhoon No.4 Noru last September.

On the morning of September 25, Thua Thien Hue Provincial Youth Activity Center collaborated with Volunteer for Community Association to hold the program of awarding “200 regenerated bicycles” in 2022.

While Nghe An was his hometown, where Ho Chi Minh was born, Hue was considered as his second hometown with his best youth memories, where his revolutionary ideology was fostered.

To promote the value of President Ho Chi Minh's relics in Thua Thien Hue, on July 28, Ho Chi Minh Museum in Thua Thien Hue organized a survey trip to build a new tour themed "Reliving Uncle Ho’s youth in Hue.”

On the morning of June 4, at Thuan An Beach (Hue City), the Provincial Youth Union organized a launching ceremony of the campaign "Make the world cleaner" and the campaign "Let's clean up the sea” in 2022, in response to World Environment Day (June 5).

This activity was co-organized by the Executive Committee of the Student Union and the Youth Union of the College of Arts, Hue University on the morning of April 3. The activity has attracted the participation of many youth union members and students from various majors in the faculties of Visual arts, Arts Pedagogy, and Applied Arts.

Doctor (Dr.) Nguyen Viet Quang Hien (born in 1987), Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union, Deputy Head of Department of Anesthesiology and Resuscitation A - Hue Central Hospital is one of 65 nationwide familiar faces honored to receive the Award of "Youth living a beautiful life" in 2021 of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union.
