On the morning of March 21st, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Binh had courtesy meeting with a delegation from the Foreign Affairs Department of Nara prefecture – Japan, headed by Mr. Hitomi Tatsuya, Director of the Foreign Affairs Department of Nara prefecture.

Not only well known in the “kite map” as a kite maker whose giant kites have flown in many parts of the world, Nguyen Dang Hoang is also considered a unique kite flier as he has made countless original kites, creating his own brand name “Hoang’s Kite.” Among them, his dragon kite, a symbol of power,_ made with Hoang’s skillful hands then hovered in the sky at shows and international festivals made many people admire.

Inspired by patterns on Nine Dynastic Urns of the Nguyen Dynasty, which located in Hue Imperial Citadel, nearly 60 wood engraving artworks have been curated and introduced to the public on the morning of March 19th at Le Ba Dang Art Center (Hue Museum of Fine Arts, 15 Le Loi Street, Hue City).

These are the "sweet fruits" after 2 years of Mr. My's hard work in transforming the land of Huong Tra hills to grow fruit trees for commercial purposes.

Recently on January 12, Hue Monuments Conservation Center (HMCC) held a report to the scientific committee on the project of restoring Can Chanh Hall in the Imperial City of the Nguyen Dynasty. The project proposes restoring the entire hall with the exterior and interior following the original in the Nguyen Dynasty.

The Union of Science and Technology Associations of Thua Thien Hue Province has just launched a book titled “The Imperial Medicine Institute (Thai Y Vien) of the Nguyen Dynasty: History and development prospects”, which is a 440-page book published by Hue University Publishing House.

On the morning of February 17th, Mr. Nguyen Van Tuan, Principal of Phu Loc Town Secondary School (Phu Loc District), announced that the century-old tropical almond tree in the schoolyard has been recognized by the Vietnam Association for Conservation of Nature and Environment as a Vietnamese Heritage Tree.
