On May 19th, the People's Committee of Phu Loc District organized a conference to promote and attract investment in tourism in 2023.

On January 31 (the 10th of the Lunar New Year), the traditional wrestling festival of Sinh village, Phu Mau commune, Hue city attracted a large number of local people and tourists to participate and watch.

The three venues, which are scheduled for the high-altitude fireworks to welcome the Lunar New Year of the Cat 2023, are Hue City, Phong Dien District, and Phu Loc District.

At the conference held in Bandung city, West Java province, Indonesia from November 23-25, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong shared about the tourism linkages between localities, promoting destinations, and diversifying forms of market connection.

Talented with constant efforts, Le Anh Tai, born at the lagoon commune of Loc Dien (Phu Loc district) has achieved great success with his passion for architectural design.

On November 14, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong made a field trip to inspect the implementation of the project of embellishing the banks of the Huong River in combination with the wharf located along Bui Thi Xuan Park, and the project of Hai Ba Trung pedestrian street (Hue City). Accompanying him was Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Hai Minh.

Hue is one of the most sought-after destinations by tourists. Some other localities are also commonly searched for such as Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Da Lat, Nha Trang, Da Nang city, and Phu Quoc island.

In two days from November 3 to 4, the Provincial Department of Tourism coordinated with the People's Committee of Phu Loc District to organize a survey trip to tourist destinations in Phu Loc District.

As a locality having the largest area of centella asiatica growing in the provincial area, with around 70 hectares concentrating in Phuoc Yen and La Van Thuong communes, including 52 hectares of centella asiatica grown following the standard of VietGAP, Quang Tho has built centella asiatica as a main OCOP product. Products made of centella asiatica such as matcha centella powder, centella juice, dried centella, etc. are also the favorite choices in the market.

On the occasion of the Vietnamese Entrepreneurs’ Day (October 13), the Provincial Real Estate Association – HuREA coordinated with Thua Thien Hue Provincial Youth Union to visit and give present to local people in Vinh Xuan commune (Phu Vang district), Quang Thanh commune (Quang Dien district), and Huong An ward (Hue City), where were affected by the typhoon No.4 Noru last September.
