With only 4 days left until the Hung Kings Commemoration Day holiday, and April 30 and May 1 holidays, Thua Thien Hue's tourism industry is ready to welcome tourists on these holidays.

On the afternoon of April 7, the Provincial People's Committee held a ceremony to honor "Outstanding Citizens of Thua Thien Hue Province" from 2020-2022 and reward at the state level for units and individuals with outstanding achievements in the year 2022.

Allocating resources to develop urban space in lagoon and seaside areas; investing in Chan May - Lang Co Economic Zone; clarifying the shape of a modern Hue City, etc., are some suggestions from leading experts on planning, architecture, urbanization, economy, and so on, at the conference organized by the Provincial People's Committee on the afternoon of April 1st to collect opinions on the Urban Master Plan of Thua Thien Hue to 2045, with a vision to 2065.

On January 30 (the 9th day of the Lunar New Year), the traditional wrestling festival of Thu Le village (Quang Dien district) took place, attracting a large number of people and tourists to participate and watch. The program “Tet holiday in Hue” 2023 held by Hue City will take place in 4 days, from 7:00 on January 14 to 17:00 on January 17 (from December 23 to 26, the Lunar Year of Tiger) at Ngo Mon Square (area adjacent to Quang Duc Gate), on 23/8 street and Le Huan street, Thuan Hoa Ward, Hue city.

According to the organizing committee, the program "Winter in Hue" will take place at 20:00 on December 3 at the Tay Khuyet Dai stage (on the Nguyen Thien Thuat - Le Huan route). This activity aims to create a highlight, contributing to increase the excitement, and serving the needs of visitors and locals to enjoy the culture and art at the Royal Citadel Night Street.

On November 10, the Ministry of Health, the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and the Consulate of Japan in Da Nang kicked off the implementation of a telemedicine consultation program at the grassroots medical level, using software “Doctor for every home” in Thua Thien Hue, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh, Dak Lak and Ca Mau provinces.
