On the morning of August 8th, at the University of Arts, members of the Thua Thien Hue Fine Arts Association transported 66 artworks to Thanh Hoa province to participate in the zone IV Fine-Art Exhibition (Northern Central Vietnam) 2024.

On the morning of August 7th, the delegation from the People's Committee of Ha Nam province held a working session with the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue Province to exchange and share experiences in implementing digital transformation (DT).

Hundreds of thousands of Han Nom (Chinese-Nom script) document pages scattered in many villages and clans across the province have been processed and digitized in a scientific and methodical manner. From July 20 to 26, at Bharat Mandapam International Exhibition-cum-convention centre (IECC) in New Delhi, India, a delegation of the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue province, led by Permanent Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Binh, attended the programs within the framework of the session, according to the invitation from the Director of the UNESCO’s World Heritage Committee and Vietnam National Commission for UNESCO. The delegation was accompanied by representatives from departments and branches.

From May to early September each year is considered the low season for international tourists. However, Vietnam's tourism industry in general and Thua Thien Hue in particular are implementing various strategies to attract foreign tourists, especially from target markets.

On July 20th, the provincial Red Cross Society, Oxfam in Vietnam, and the New Zealand Embassy in Hanoi organized a summary workshop for the project “Post-COVID-19 livelihood recovery for female farmers in particularly difficult and for difficult communes in Thua Thien Hue.” The event was attended by Ms. Caroline Rachel Beresford, New Zealand Ambassador to Vietnam.

On July 19, Thua Thien Hue Young Entrepreneurs Association, in collaboration with Tiktok Shop Vietnam and Vitamin Media & Entertainment Company, organized a livestream event themed “Hue Speciality Products Market”.
