On the afternoon of September 22, within the framework of the Hue Innovation Day 2023 Forum, the Vietnam National Institute of Culture and Arts Studies collaborated with the Thua Thien Hue Institute for Development Studies to organize a scientific workshop entitled “Thua Thien Hue - A distinctive cultural heritage city of Vietnam, sustainable development through green growth, and adaptation to climate change.”

In an effort to continue to preserve and promote the cultural heritage value of Bai choi art, on the morning of August 30th, in Thuy Thanh commune (Huong Thuy town), the Department of Culture & Information in coordination with the Department of Education organized a training workshop on Bai choi singing for teachers from preschools, primary schools, and secondary schools in the area of Huong Thuy town.

"Studying the values of cultural landscapes of Hue heritage and the surrounding areas in order to preserve and promote the values of the Complex of Hue Monuments" is the topic of an international seminar held on August 9.

Along with supporting the restoration of Hue heritage, experts from the German Society for the Preservation of Cultural Heritage also strive to pass on love and understanding of heritage to local people, especially the younger generation.

How can we attract the attention of the young generation to the traditional Ao Dai, so they will wear it proudly and honor its beauty and cultural heritage? The preservation and promotion of the values of the artistic heritage of Hue Singing (Ca Hue) have captured much attention recently. A dossier “The Art of Hue Singing” has been assembled to submit to the UNESCO to be considered for inclusion in the list of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
