At the ward of Kim Long, a garden has become a gathering place for farmers who love organic farming. Farming together and giving each other instructions for how to grow and care for clean vegetables, they created Kim Long Community Garden (Hue city) as a destination for people to visit, purchase clean vegetables and learn about eco-friendly vegetable farming.

Gaining access to expert resources, capital and technology within the country and abroad in order to introduce and connect with the local community and vice versa is the main goal of the forum “Meeting the Heads of National Technology Villages, Launching the National AI Technology Village in Hue, and Holding a seminar on building the Ancient Capital Startup Ecosystem” hosted by the Provincial People's Committee in collaboration with the Ministry of Science and Technology on October 27th in Hue City.

After a period of mass destruction due to poor quality, now, persimmon gardens are being restored in A Luoi (a mountainous district located to the southwest and 70km from Hue city) in the direction of breeding valuable varieties. The locality is implementing improved grafting of acrid persimmon trees to popular persimmons in order to develop plants with high economic potential.

After the joy when the project for Thuan An Bridge and the coastal road has just commenced, Hue people are currently excitedly awaiting the project for Nguyen Hoang Street and the bridge over the Huong River – a vital project not only contributing to the beautification of Hue City but also ushering in a new turning point to foster the provincial socio-economic development.

Subsequent to one full year of Hue City administrative boundary expansion, the urban infrastructure from the central area to new communes and wards has been connected and perfected, contributing to the socio-economic development promotion. Recently, a number of businesses and individuals have rented or purchased abandoned and barren land, with low economic efficiency in Huong An, Huong Tho, and Thuy Bang (Hue City), to renovate and develop agricultural and farm tourism model, such as Green Life Farm, Rom Farm, and Hoang Thi Farm & Camp, etc.

It seems that when talking about A Luoi (a mountainous district 70km from Hue city), many people are familiar with waterfalls, ecotourism, and community tourism. However, if you have the opportunity to learn about that mountainous land, exploring the caves and tunnels you will also get a full range of emotions.

In the face of one year with many difficulties and challenges under the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, Hue City has mobilized resources to implement the program of boundary adjustment in association with renewal and construction of urban infrastructure, creating a driving force behind the socio-economic development.

After a period of planning, infrastructure investment, and preparation, Hue City will soon put Hue Imperial Citadel Night Street into operation in early 2022, creating opportunities to develop tourism services to promote socio-economic development.

From January 1, 2022, Hue City will officially put the Imperial City Night Quarter into operation in order to create opportunities for tourism development towards the socio-economic recovery in the area.
