On May 9, at Hue Central Hospital, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong bestowed a certificate of merit of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to the team of the trans-Vietnam heart transplantation as the case had been successfully performed by the experts of the Hospital.

On April 11, Hue Central Hospital claimed that pediatric patient Tran Nguyen Thuy N. (12 months old) - a case of bilateral nephroblastoma that was successfully treated by the collaboration between the Hospital and St Jude Children's Research Hospital (USA) - has returned to Vietnam.

These are the female "warriors" of Hue Central Hospital in all areas of health care for patients. Despite stress, pressure, and even the constant risk of infection, those "warriors" always fulfill the mission of a physician, like flowers silently emitting fragrance.

On the morning of March 7, the Italian ODA project management unit of Hue University and Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy held a ground-breaking ceremony of the construction of a new building for the high-tech Obstetrics and Gynecology Department of the hospital of Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy, with the ODA capital from the Italian Republic and the reciprocal capital from Vietnam.

Doctor (Dr.) Nguyen Viet Quang Hien (born in 1987), Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union, Deputy Head of Department of Anesthesiology and Resuscitation A - Hue Central Hospital is one of 65 nationwide familiar faces honored to receive the Award of "Youth living a beautiful life" in 2021 of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union.

On January 6, Hue Central Hospital said that the condition of heart transplant patient Phan Duy Q. (23 years old, Phu Vang district, Thua Thien Hue province) is progressing positively, getting gradually stable as he can leave the hospital in a few days.
