In 2021, the United Nations enumerates today's world with 195 countries. For the first time in human history, countries worldwide have suffered the same fate of the COVID-19 pandemic in a comprehensive, incomparable way, regardless of skin color, history, inclination, or race. Although only a few countries did not publicly report pandemic data, as the world was not informed, it was not a place that could maintain the "no infection" condition.

Not many people have noticed a special thing in this winter in Hue: For the first time ever, in the rainfall updates of the Provincial Commanding Committee for Disaster Prevention and Search & Rescue appears a very strange place, which is Quan Tuong Dai (the Imperial Observatory) in Hue Imperial City. The three words “Quan Tuong Dai” being read out on a rainy day sounds melancholy as if old friends saw each other once again after such a long time.

The contest “Hue Initiatives - Green Space, Green City” is a place for young people and citizens to propose breakthrough and creative ideas that can transform potential areas in Hue city into multi-functional green spaces, adapting to climate change, improving public health and promoting sustainable development.

In recent years, Hue has become a venue for many filmmakers. In addition to the famous landmarks, there are many other potentially beautiful places which are appealing to moviegoers. Cinema becomes an effective channel for promoting the landscape and heritage of Hue.

It is not surprising that two feature films set in Hue won awards at the 22nd Vietnam Film Festival, which had just taken place in Hue. The film "Dreamy Eyes", portraying an ordinary life, won the Golden Lotus Prize, and the film "Camellia Sisters V", portraying a luxurious royal setting, won the prize of the Organizing Committee.

In the framework of the 22nd Vietnam Film Festival, the two exhibitions including a photo exhibition named “Thua Thien Hue – Destination for filmmakers” and an exhibition “Heritage and You”, which are respectively held by Vietnam Film Academy and Tourism Department, will take place.
