After the Lunar New Year, A Luoi district and Hue City continue to call for donations of peach blossom trees used during Tet to build A Luoi peach blossom garden. The appeal this time call has many differences, at least it being no longer experimental.

Tet (Lunar New Year) of Tiger 2022 is the second Tet that the spring sport activities cannot be organized because of COVID-19. And Hue people will probably recall the two big and typical folk sport activities to enjoy Tet, welcome spring.

Facing less favourable weather in the days after Tet holiday, with their usual hard-working unyielding spirit, local farmers put their springtime activities on hold to go to the fields and take care of their rice. Their usual jobs are to transplant, fertilize, weed, and pump water for the irrigation system.

On the morning of the 7th day of Lunar New Year (February 7th, 2022), Hue Monuments Conservation Center held a ceremony to lower the Neu pole and open the seal to greet the new year at The Mieu Temple and Trieu Mieu Temple (the Citadel).

In the New Year of the Tiger, Mr. Tran Thanh Quang (Hue City) meticulously cut a tiger shape from green papaya and potato to make a five-tiger jam for guests.

In Hue, somewhere on the sidewalk, you can see Prunus Persica blossom trees nestling themselves next to an old tree. Those are Prunus Persica blossom trees that their owners left after Tet (Vietnamese New Year’s Day.)

From the 2nd to the 6th of the Lunar New Year of the Tiger, 2022, Thuy Thanh Commune (Huong Thuy Town) organizes a small-scale Bai Choi festival at the campus of the Commune's Farm Tool Display House.
