On the evening of May 20, the Provincial Executive Board of Vietnam Buddhist Sangha and the Vesak 2568 Organization Board held the opening ceremony of flower boat parade. After the opening ceremony, the flower boats will parade on the Huong River. This is one of the important activities within the framework of the Vesak Week 2568.

On the afternoon of May 15th, at Lieu Quan Buddhist Cultural Center, the Executive Board of provincial Buddhist Sangha and the Organizing Board of the Vesak Day Celebration of Buddhist Calendar 2568 held the opening ceremony of the Buddhist cultural exhibition themed “Fragrance of the Lotus”. This significant event is part of the series of activities for the Vesak Week of Buddhist Calendar 2568 in 2024.

Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) on May 11 announced that the 31st World Travel Awards for Asia and Oceania has been now open for voting at www.worldtravelawards.com. The voting period will close on July 23, 2024.

The Central Coast Museum of Nature (henceforth the Museum) was established in 2009, and its specimen display space was officially open to the public in 2020. Though still being in its “infancy”, the Museum’s exhibition space has attracted many scientists, researchers, and young people who are passionate about learning and experiencing nature conservation and biodiversity.

On the evening of April 29th, at Thuan An beach, Thuan An ward, the People's Committee of Hue City organized the opening ceremony of “Thuan An – Call of the sea” festival 2024. Strong growth in the number of international visitors, as well as recognition from the press and the world’s leading prestigious tourism organizations, open up opportunities for Hue to put a spotlight on its tourism. It is expected that there will be bright colors on the big picture of Hue tourism in 2024 and the following years.

On the evening of April 27, at Thuong Bac Park, Dong Ba Ward, the People's Committee of Hue City in collaboration with Phu Dat Gia Co., Ltd. organized the opening ceremony of the Hue Traditional Food Week 2024.

A recent signing ceremony between Hue Monuments Conservation Center (HMCC) and Global Book Corporation has opened a new chapter in promoting Hue's cultural heritage to international friends.
