In celebration of Hue Festival 2024, on June 8th, Hue artists and Hue lovers will gather at Kim Long Orchard to display paintings under the theme "A Stroll Through the Hue Garden." Hue Museum of Fine Arts is both a space to display exhibitions that attract the public and, over the years, it has become a popular choice among students as an experiential school destination. Not only do they learn more about art, such as painting, installation, etc., but they also get to role-play and create works in their way.

The exhibition of winning artworks of the UOB Painting of the Year competition, which was held for the first time in Vietnam in 2023, has just opened at Le Ba Dang Art Center (Hue Museum of Fine Arts, 15 Le Loi Street, Hue City) on the afternoon of April 17.

Though belonging to different generations and living in different places, with their shared passion for painting, they meet in Hue for an exhibition. To them, Hue is land of memories of not only their work but also their friendship and love among themselves.

A group of artists from many places have been in love with Hue so much that they have painted art works about the land known as "the beauty of Hue can be found nowhere else" as a keepsake of their memories of the Ancient Capital.

More than 130 paintings, which are the selected works from the artistic career of painter Nguyen Van Nguyen, were recently exhibited and introduced to the public on the afternoon of March 22nd at Ho Chi Minh Museum in Thua Thien Hue (7 Le Loi Street, Hue City).

Among many mausoleums of the Nguyen Dynasty, recognized by the UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage in 1993, Emperor Gia Long's mausoleum is a magnificent painting of the coordination between nature and architecture; in which, nature is the main factor creating the grandeur of the architectural structure.

The painting "Long van khe hoi" (Nine dragons in the clouds) is a masterpiece on the ceiling of the old main hall of Dieu De Pagoda, which has been moved around 20 meters backward, and is currently being well preserved to the surprise of many. The painting used to be a topic of heated debate for many years regarding whether to keep in the old main hall or to dismantle it. Dismantling it also meant erasing this masterpiece.

Skillfully integrating moss into paintings to highlight the unique colors and shapes of moss clusters, Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Son, a Zoomer, has created impressive, eye-catching artistic moss paintings.

Over 20 paintings depicting Hue heritages by Le Huu Long - an artist, have just been introduced to the public in an exhibition titled “Vong Hue,” opened on the afternoon of January 10th at Song Huong Magazine (9 Pham Hong Thai Street, Hue City).
