Apart from antiquities, ancient books and documents under the Nguyen Dynasty are invaluable and need to be collected, researched and introduced to the public.

Although Hue is a land known for its numerous national-scale libraries and archives, the work of Tang Tho Lau (or Tang Thu Lau - Archive Pavilion) - also known as Lau Tang Tho (or Tang Thu), is still considered a rare “Treasure of the Ancients” of the monarchy period that has been remarkably preserved.

The purpose of raising Asian Palm civets of Mr. Vo Quang, a citizen of Group 10 - Thuy Phuong ward - Huong Thuy town, is not for business or profit, yet for raising people’s awareness on protecting endangered wildlife animals; in which, there are many rare species that are on the verge of extinction.

On the occasion of Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day 2023, on the morning of April 19, Hue Monuments Conservation Center opened an exhibition of rare books and introduced the work "Ngự chế minh văn cổ khí đồ" by Emperor Minh Mang.

After receiving a Vich sea turtle on the evening of April 4, the Quang Dien District Forest Protection Department and the Provincial Fisheries Sub-Department took care of and released it back to the sea.

The exhibition introduced viewers to over 120 rare and precious Sino-Vietnamese Demotic documents. In fact, these documents are ordinationconferment papers and degrees that were preserved in villages, private homes and later restored.

The ancient ruong houses, river wharfs from afar, the ancient gold apple tree (Diospyros decandra) and the flaming pottery kiln of Phuoc Tich ancient village became shimmering and poetic when being painted. From real-life objects to becoming a painting, these scenes contained a lot of painters’ emotions and vibration about a so-called rare ancient village of Vietnam.

This announcement was confirmed by the Forest Protection Division of Hue City on November 30.

Located downstream of the Perfume River, Ru Cha is a rare primeval mangrove forest that exists in Tam Giang lagoon. The forest belongs to Thuan Hoa village (Huong Phong commune), about 15km from the center of Hue city. The scenery here is like a picture of pristine, fresh and gentle nature, attracting all eyes.
