The National Historic Site of Tri Thien Hue Party Committee (located in Huong Van Ward of Huong Tra Town) was inaugurated by the Provincial Museum of History on the morning of October 5th, after 2 years of renovation and restoration.

After a period of mass destruction due to poor quality, now, persimmon gardens are being restored in A Luoi (a mountainous district located to the southwest and 70km from Hue city) in the direction of breeding valuable varieties. The locality is implementing improved grafting of acrid persimmon trees to popular persimmons in order to develop plants with high economic potential.

This is the amount that has just been approved by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee. The sum is from the non-refundable aid that is not part of the official non-project support, sponsored by the Ministry of Culture - French Government through the UNESCO Office in Hanoi.

Along with the mission to attract more visitors, Hue Monuments Conservation Center also promotes the restoration of relics for degraded and ruined relics.

On the morning of April 19, Hue Monuments Conservation Center informed about the dismantlement of Thai Hoa Palace for restoration.

Master Andrea Teufel (The Federal Republic of Germany) was honored as a typical Scientific and Technological Intellectual of Thua Thien Hue Province in 2019. For nearly 19 years of devotion to Hue heritage conservation work, Andrea Teufel, MSc in conservation and restoration, has regarded Hue as her second home.

After many years of preparation, the restoration of Thai Hoa Palace (Palace of Supreme Harmony) has just begun by Hue Monuments Conservation Center. This has been so far the biggest restoration which succeeds the results of the previous restorations (from 1833 – 1945).

The tourism industry of the five localities including Da Nang city, Quang Nam - Quang Binh - Quang Tri and Thua Thien Hue province has just signed a memorandum of cooperation in 2022 to support each other in the restoration of tourism activities.

"The fact that the National Assembly's permission to establish Hue Heritage Conservation Fund is good news for the Complex of Hue Monuments since there will be more resources to serve the restoration and preservation of the heritage.” This is the statement made by the Director of Hue Monuments Conservation Center – Mr. Hoang Viet Trung – when having an exchange with Thua Thien Hue Weekly.

Hue Monuments Conservation Center has just held a groundbreaking ceremony for the overall conservation and restoration project of Thái Hòa palace.
