Le Ngoc Thuy, a math teacher at Huong Vinh High School, braved danger to save 3 people swept away by floodwaters. These people were capsized in a boat incident that also drowned a mother and child. The incident took place on the morning of November 15 at the area of Hau Dam – Canal, Huong Vinh ward, Hue city

Woman teacher-artist Quynh Nga has just been honored by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism as one of 78 advanced role models in the cultural field nationwide in 2023. In an effort to continue to preserve and promote the cultural heritage value of Bai choi art, on the morning of August 30th, in Thuy Thanh commune (Huong Thuy town), the Department of Culture & Information in coordination with the Department of Education organized a training workshop on Bai choi singing for teachers from preschools, primary schools, and secondary schools in the area of Huong Thuy town.

In the 2023 National High School Graduation Examination, Gia Hoi High School witnesses 434 out of 435 students passing the exam, reaching the rate of nearly 100%. Lan Vien Co Tich located by the Perfume River still keeps many artworks by Thai Nguyen Ba (Thai Ba). His Hueish paintings of the ancient citadel, woodcarving pictures of Hue girls, and interior decor items, etc., all show the talent of the artist.
