It has been 40 years until the school year 2022 – 2023 that Thua Thien Hue had the first award for Math in the national exam for excellent students. The achievement of Tu Cong Thanh, a Grade 12 student of Class Math 1 of Quoc Hoc High School for the Gifted, has made many people feel confident and hopeful about “reviving” the top-notch math.

Participating in the festival, Hue tourism industry focused on promoting its events and festivals of this year; especially the Hue Traditional Craft Festival 2023 and a series of activities to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Complex of Hue Monuments and the 20th anniversary of Hue Royal Court Music recognized as the world’s cultural intangible heritage.

The 5th national startup festival for students 2023 was held at Hue University on March 25 and 26. With large scale of organization, the festival this year will consisted of various important activities and Hue University was ready for each one.

On the morning of March 20, the Department of Education and Training held a ceremony to commend and reward national excellent students in the school year 2022-2023.

In the early days of the Lunar New Year of the Cat 2023, along with many traditional customs preserved and implemented by Quang Dien district, the custom of seeking and giving calligraphy is also the occasion to celebrate the beginning of new-year writing. This meaningful cultural beauty remains and is being preserved and handed down, showing the tradition of respecting studiousness and knowledge for many generations of the Vietnamese people.

Marking the end of the Lunar New Year holiday, on the morning of the 7th day of Lunar New Year (January 28, 2023), Hue Monuments Conservation Center held a ceremony to lower the Neu pole and open the seal to greet the new year at The Mieu Temple and Trieu Mieu Temple - Imperial City.

According to Hue Monuments Conservation Center, during the three days of the Lunar New Year of the Cat in 2023, the Hue heritage site welcomed over 53,000 visitors on its free entrance policy.

On the morning of the second day of the Lunar New Year of the Cat (January 23), the Organizing Committee of the Spring activities in Dien Hoa Commune, Phong Dien District held the traditional Fairy Swing Festival in the Lunar New Year of the Cat 2023.

From school year 2022-2023 onwards, local education is one of the seven compulsory educational subjects and activities applied to the upper secondary level.

On the occasion of the Lunar New Year of the Cat 2023, Hue Monuments Conservation Center organizes various cultural and artistic activities at Hue Imperial Citadel to introduce to visitors the special and unique features of the Ancient Capital’s culture on the old days and create vibrant atmosphere for the heritage area.
