Inspired by the phoenix (“Linh phung” in Vietnamese), a symbol of eternal grace and happiness, the 12 ao dai collections showcased at the recent “Linh phung” Ao dai Festival have left deep impressions and emotions in the hearts of the public and audience.

Following the success of previous collections such as “Xua va nay” (Past and Present), “Nhat Nguyet” (Sun and Moon), “Em den tu nghin xua” (You Come from Ancient Times), “Vu khuc gam lua” (Silk Dance), and “Bong - Hinh” (Shadow - Image), on the evening of December 14th, Trinh Hoang Dieu - a fashion designer, will unveil a new collection of Ao dai entitled “Mau thoi gian” (Colors of Time) at the art event and fashion show “Dieu - Mau thoi gian” (Dieu - Colors of Time) in Ho Chi Minh City.

The flowing ao dai inspired by the Huong River - the poetic and renowned river of Hue, and perhaps the most beautiful in Vietnam - have been elegantly showcased by models to the backdrop of music, sometimes serene, sometimes lively, taking the audience through a range of emotions.

On the morning of May 1st, Hue City Women's Union, in collaboration with Hue City Labour Federation, Hue Youth Union, and Hue Sports and Culture Information Center, organized an event called “Ao Dai by the Perfume River.”

Graduated from a pedagogy school, then attached to embroidery profession, yet the Director of Doan Trang Embroidery Trading & Service Co. Ltd. has an endless passion for Ao Dai and has been the Ao Dai designer for the last 10 years. She has confirmed her name through fashion shows at home and abroad.

The designer Quang Hoa has collaborated with the designer Maria Elena di Terlizzi from Italy to design 60 contemporary Ao dai which are both traditional and modern for a show in Rome next year.

The opening art program, taking place at 20:00 on June 25 at Ngo Mon Square, is an art performance and ao dai fashion show, opening a series of exciting activities of Hue Festival Week 2022 (June 25 - 30).

Following exciting activities and experiences, the “Country’s Fair and Festival – Thanh Toan tile-roofed bridge in 2022” closed on the night of February 25, with special art performances and the Ao Dai fashion show.

An art show called "Khai xuân chợ quê ngày hội". (Spring Opening of the Country’s Fair and Festival) took place at Thanh Toan Farm Tools Gallery, of the Thanh Toan tile-roofed bridge community tourist attraction (Thuy Thanh commune - Huong Thuy town) on the night of February 21.

In the framework of the exhibition “Vietnam cultural heritages, landscapes and traditional handicrafts” belonging to the National Tourism Year 2021 which is running from December 17 to 24 in Ninh Binh, Thua Thien Hue introduced the ao dai performance show named “The color of heritage” on December 18.
