On the morning of October 26th, at Ngo Mon Square, the Ministry of Public Security held the opening ceremony of the 9th “For National Security” Health Congress and the 6th Regulations, Military and Martial Arts Competition of People’s Police in Region 4.

With an excellent performance in the final match of the Road to Olympia, Vo Quang Phu Duc, a 12th grade student of Specialized Math Class No. 1 at Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted, brought the laurel wreath back to his hometown, becoming the third one of the school to become the champion after Ho Ngoc Han (in 2009) and Ho Dac Thanh Chuong (in 2016). Ngo Mon Bell, the Throne of Emperor Duy Tan, the Stone Relief under the reign of Emperor Minh Mang and the Dragon Statue under the reign of Emperor Thieu Tri are the four artifacts requesting National Treasure Recognition in 2024. The Stone Relief under the reign of Emperor Minh Mang is currently on display for close-up look at Hue Museum of Royal Antiquities.

On September 18th, the People's Committee of Vinh Xuan Commune (Phu Vang District) held a ceremony to receive the certificate recognizing Vietnam heritage trees. After 12 years of studying, researching, and working abroad, in 2022, Dr. Ho Ngoc Han, the champion of “Đường lên đỉnh Olympia 2009” (Road to Olympia), chose to return to Huế to serve his homeland.

Invited to participate in the 2024 World Grand Prix Model Competition in Korea by the Korean Institute of Traditional Culture & ORIHERI, four representatives from Hue, among many from Vietnam, achieved significant awards, with Nguyen Ngoc Phon honored with the First prize.
