In the joyful atmosphere, celebrating the 79th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, the Department of Culture and Sports organized the 35th Traditional Boat Racing Competition of Thua Thien Hue province on the morning of September 2, with the participation of 9 units from wards and communes of 9 districts, towns and Hue City.

On the evening of August 4th, at Imperial Citadel night street in Thuan Hoa Ward, Hue City People's Committee held the closing ceremony of the Creative Space for experiencing traditional Hue handicrafts, specialties, and cuisine.

Over the course of 3 nights, from August 2 to 4, at the Imperial City Night Street in Thuan Hoa Ward, Hue City People's Committee will organize a creative and experiential space for Hue traditional handicrafts, specialties, and cuisine.

On the evening of April 29th, at Thuan An beach, Thuan An ward, the People's Committee of Hue City organized the opening ceremony of “Thuan An – Call of the sea” festival 2024. The event was attended by Mr. Phan Thien Dinh, Member of the Standing Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, and Chairman of the City People's Council; city leaders; departments, agencies, units, enterprises; as well as domestic and international tourists.

The People's Committee of Hue City has just issued a plan to organize the "Thuan An - Call of the Sea 2024" program at Thuan An Beach, Thuan An Ward, Hue City.

Early on the morning of March 15th, at the Xa Tac Esplanade (Thuan Hoa ward, Hue City), Hue Monuments Conservation Center solemnly organized the Xa Tac Ritual 2024 to pray for national prosperity, favorable weather, abundant harvests, and the well-being of the people.

In order to create a connection and to balance the nightlife and entertainment activities in Hue city and to form an attractive nightlife tourism product to serve locals and tourists, Hue will soon open a pedestrian street at Hai Ba Trung Street in Vinh Ninh Ward. On the morning of March 12, the Alliance of Arts and Literature Association of Vietnam in collaboration with the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists in Thua Thien Hue and Thua Thien Hue Photography Association to hold a ceremony of offering flowers and incense to commemorate the celebrity Dang Huy Tru, the ancestor of Vietnam’s photography at the ancestral house of worship of the Dang Family (Thanh Luong village, Huong Xuan ward, Huong Tra town).

On the morning of February 2, a traditional Cau Ngu (fish worshipping) festival and a ceremony to kick off the Southern fishing season in 2023 were held at Thai Duong communal house, People’s Committee of Thuan An Ward, Hue City.

The program “Tet holiday in Hue” 2023 held by Hue City will take place in 4 days, from 7:00 on January 14 to 17:00 on January 17 (from December 23 to 26, the Lunar Year of Tiger) at Ngo Mon Square (area adjacent to Quang Duc Gate), on 23/8 street and Le Huan street, Thuan Hoa Ward, Hue city.
