Launched in April, the 2024 Reading Culture Ambassador Contest attracted 16.358 entries from 120 primary schools, secondary schools, and high schools in the provincial area.

With an excellent performance in the final match of the Road to Olympia, Vo Quang Phu Duc, a 12th grade student of Specialized Math Class No. 1 at Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted, brought the laurel wreath back to his hometown, becoming the third one of the school to become the champion after Ho Ngoc Han (in 2009) and Ho Dac Thanh Chuong (in 2016). After winning the 2024 Road to Olympia Championship, on the afternoon of October 14, Vo Quang Phu Duc, a 12th grade student majoring in Math, class 1 at Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted, returned to school in a warm welcome from teachers, friends and family.

In the final round of the 24th “Road to Mount Olympia” (with Vietnamese title being “Duong len dinh Olympia”), which was live broadcast on the morning of October 13, Vo Quang Phu Duc, a representative of Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted, excellently won the laurel wreath.

On the morning of October 6, at Quoc hoc Hue High school for the Gifted, the Department of Dyke Management and Disaster Prevention under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development in collaboration with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), and the United States Forest Services held a training session titled “Basis Knowledge on Disaster Prevention and First Aid for Injuries”.

From October 3rd to 5th, the Department of Education and Training organized the provincial 12th Grade excellent student selection exam for the 2024-2025 school year at Quoc Hoc-Hue High School for the Gifted.

After undergoing a rigorous evaluation and quality assessment process, Quoc Hoc - Hue High School for the Gifted (Quoc Hoc) has officially joined the LabelFrancÉducation network (France), which includes 600 schools worldwide, several of which are in Vietnam.

On the evening of July 13, the award ceremony of the 35th International Biology Olympiad (IBO) took place in the Republic of Kazakhstan. In this Olympiad, Ho Duc Trung, a 12th-grade Biology student, Quoc Hoc - Hue High School for the Gifted clinched a silver medal.

On July 23, Hue University's Admission Council announced the minimum quality assurance thresholds (benchmark scores) for admission to full-time undergraduate programs at its member universities and faculties, using the results of the 2024 National High School Graduation Examination.

At the 15th annual competition for excellent students from specialized high schools in the Coastal and Northern Delta region held in Hai Duong, students from Quoc Hoc – Hue High School for the Gifted won a total of 29 medals and awards. The closing ceremony and award presentation took place on the afternoon of July 17th.
