The artifacts selected for identification are representative items typical of the Nguyen Dynasty's royalty and officials, such as the golden throne, palanquins, ceremonial shoes (things used in daily life and rituals), gold and jade branches (interior decorations), and the Xam Huong set (a recreational activity). This initiative marks the beginning of applying technology to preserve and promote the cultural heritage values preserved in Thua Thien Hue.

At the Award Ceremony of "L'ORÉAL - UNESCO For the Development of Women in Science" in 2023, Assoc. Prof., Dr. Nguyen Thi Ai Nhung made an impression with her “typical Hue” image upon giving a presentation on the research topic relevant to the potential and application of endemic medicinal plants in Thua Thien Hue Province in supporting disease treatment for public health care. She was among three female scientists honored by L'ORÉAL - UNESCO in 2023.

On the evening of November 7th, the Vietnamese Cuisine Culture Association held a ceremony to announce and present certificates for the outstanding culinary dishes of Thua Thien Hue province in phase I – 2022, and launched the nomination voting for the second phase in 2023 of the “Journey to discover the typical cultural value of Vietnam’s cuisine”, and awarding membership certificates to the Culinary Culture Association of Thua Thien Hue.
