In Doi village (Thuong Lo Commune, Nam Dong District), there is a special man who quietly and diligently preserves and promotes the traditional values of the Cơ Tu ethnic group. This man is Pơloong Chướch, a senior artisan who has dedicated his entire life to the craft of weaving.

On October 5th, the Vietnam Digital Media Association and VietTimes e-magazine held the Vietnam Digital Awards 2024 ceremony in Hanoi. On the afternoon of September 10, at the Hai Van Frontier Post relic site, the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue province and the People's Committee of Da Nang City held a working session on coordination in managing, exploiting, and promoting the value of the Hai Van Frontier Post national relic site.

“The fact that “Knowledge of Tailoring and Wearing Hue Ao Dai” having just been enlisted as a National Intangible Cultural Heritage not only is an honor and pride, but at the same time, affirms that Hue Ao Dai always carries the traditional cultural values of the nation and has a strong vitality throughout history,” emphasized Mr. Phan Thanh Hai, Member of the National Cultural Heritage Council, Director of the provincial Department of Culture and Sports when sharing the story about the new recognition of it with Thua Thien Hue Weekly.

Talking about Hue cuisine, tourists always give compliments, a special highlight of which is Hue vegetarian cuisine. Tapping the value of vegetarian cuisine for tourism is partly an opening to promote tourism and partly a contribution to preserving and promoting the value of Hue vegetarian cuisine.

With the goal of building environmentally friendly Green Transport infrastructure, in line with the overall economic development orientation of the province in the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050, on June 14, Hue Monuments Conservation Center and Gbike Co., Ltd. The artifacts selected for identification are representative items typical of the Nguyen Dynasty's royalty and officials, such as the golden throne, palanquins, ceremonial shoes (things used in daily life and rituals), gold and jade branches (interior decorations), and the Xam Huong set (a recreational activity). This initiative marks the beginning of applying technology to preserve and promote the cultural heritage values preserved in Thua Thien Hue.

Many projects worth billions, tens of billions have been granted investment registration certificates, investment approval decisions, affirming the position of Thua Thien Hue. Not to mention the "turning the situation around" in creating high values, but those projects are evidence that the province has made breakthroughs in attracting investment.

With unique and significant values in terms of form and informational content, "The Engravings on the Nine Dynastic Urns of Hue Imperial Citadel" was recognized by UNESCO as a Documentary Heritage in the Asia-Pacific region's Memory of the World Program on May 8th. This marks Hue's fourth UNESCO-listed documentary heritage.
