Visitors to the Citadel travelling in small groups to ensure disease prevention
The biggest attraction was the heritage sites when Hue Monuments Conservation Center applied a free-to-visit policy to stimulate the need to travel again after the outbreak of the pandemic. According to Hue Monuments Conservation Center, there were about 4,000 tourist turns visiting the heritage system on September 2, particularly, the Imperial Citadel itself attracted about 2,000 visitors.
At some destinations, exploring and experiencing spots in Hue city and other districts and towns were also selected by tourists to "check in" and have fun, such as the flower garden in front of Van Thanh (Huong Ho ward, Huong Tra town), Thuy Thanh flower garden (Huong Thuy town), Community tourism village ANôr (A luoi district), the scene settings of the Dreamy Eyes (Mat Biec) movie, Thac Mo Eco YesHue (Nam Dong district), etc.
Some resorts started to welcome guests such as Vedana Lagoon Resort & Spa (with 90 guests), Alba Thanh Tan Resort (with 60 guests), Hanh Huong Village (with 30 guests), etc.
The main number of guests was local one. All destinations were in compliance with the regulations of serving guests and preventing pandemic. Visitors visiting and experiencing the place must ensure disease prevention and control measures as prescribed at destinations and service facilities.
According to the Department of Tourism, the Independence Day holiday is identified as a new landmark of Hue tourism. Next time, the tourism industry will develop a map of safe destinations; rebuild a set of safety criteria at accommodation facilities and scored on a scale to increase safety, which helps attract visitors at the end of the year.
