Co-operating to develop teaching Japanese in schools in Thua Thien Hue
TTH.VN - On August 29, Director of the Japan Foundation Center for Cultural Exchange in Vietnam- Mr. Ando Toshiki had a working meeting with Deputy Chairman of provincial People's Committee Nguyen Dung on co-operation to develop teaching Japanese in schools in Thua Thien Hue province and introducing Japanese teaching associates coming to work in Hue.

On this occasion, there are 4 associates coming to teach Japanese in secondary and high schools all over the Hue area. Besides teaching Japanese, these partners also have the mission of introducing the culture, life and Japanese people to students in Hue to strengthen the relationship between Vietnam and Japan. Mr. Ando Toshiki said that Thua Thien Hue is a province with a large number of students being proficient in Japanese in the country. In many Japanese speaking contests, Thua Thien Hue students always won high prizes. Mr. Ando Toshiki thanked provincial leaders as well as Thua Thien Hue Department of Education and Training for their interest in facilitating Japanese language development in schools, and hoped to have more cooperation in cultural and educational development with Thua Thien Hue province.
Deputy Chairman of provincial People's Committee Nguyen Dung highly appreciated Japan’s developmental cooperation and teaching support in Thua Thien Hue province. Thua Thien Hue province is committed to creating favorable conditions for Japanese teaching associates to complete their duties while working in Hue. According to Deputy Chairman of provincial People's Committee Nguyen Dung, the relationship between Thua Thien Hue province and Japan has developed after the visit to Hue by Japanese King Akihito and Empress Michiko. He suggested that in the future Japan kept on researching to develop Japanese teaching in Hue, held more Japanese language competitions so that students were able to exchange learning, improve the knowledge and skills of speaking Japanese, and collaborated with Thua Thien Hue province in the development of education and training of human resources.
